Zone Alarm & AlcoholDo you by any chance use Zone Alarm, if yes please check the following when installing Alcohol.
That Zone Alarm Extreme Force Field and C:\Program files\CheckPoint\ZAForceField\IswSvc.exe are disabled especially at start up then try to install Alcohol again.
