Error 25002Hi, I downloaded Alcohol 120%, tried to make a back up copy of a game cd that I purchased. It made an image properly, but during the burn process, I received an error message, and now my drive can't read any cdroms (music, data). I have been using clonecd, and decided to try Alcohol. I have attached the error report. I sent the error report in for analysis, and the cd-r discs are what I have always been using (Memorex CD-R 40X), unless they dont work well with Alcohol.
I have searched the net for possible fixes, searched the forum group, tried many suggestions and nothing. The drive is recognized in "Device Manager" and states "This device is working properly". I am using the latest firmware. I don't know what further information you require.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

from your system report a Blank media error is shown.Humm...
The blank media has worked fine with the writer in the past. I would try different blank media, however, the writer now cannot read any cd-roms I place in there. This all occurred after the attempt burn.
I have placed audio/data cd's (not burned copies) into the writer. They spin up, but then nothing. When I right click on my drive, open explore, I get the following error message:
Disc is not Formatted: Windows cannot read from this disc. The disc might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windows.
Any suggestions? Windows problem? Have you tried rebooting then checking if that is still occuring ?.Robbo, firstly, thank you for trying to help me.
Yes, rebooting was the simplest thing I tried. Also removed the cd writer, re installed, uninstalled/re-installed Alcohol, removed clonecd, made Alcohol the first install... removed virtual Alcohol drives, assigned a new drive letter...nothing worked.
I will keep searching, but the error message from windows is confusing me.
Again, thank you for your assistance.
